The 'Batman' - introduced at Baselworld 2013 as the first two-tone black/blue Cerachrom bezel GMT-Master II. The nickname came from its dark color palette. On Oyster bracelet with Cal. 3186. One of the most sought-after references of the era.
The GMT-Master II is the logical next step if you're already down the Sub rabbit hole like me-solid movement, excellent tool watch credentials, and that dual-timezone function actually gets used unlike most complications. Wears beautifully and holds its own against the competition, though at this price point you're definitely paying for the name and waiting list drama as much as the watch itself. Still, it's a no-brainer if you want something that does everything well without any real weak spots, even if it doesn't quite hit the "life-changing" mark.
