Full details and images of the Universal Geneve Okeanos Stainless Steel / Grey (871.101/017D)
The Okeanos is a solid mid-tier diver that punches respectably in its price range, but it feels like Universal Genève is playing it safe rather than pushing the envelope-you get competent execution without much personality. For the money, something like a Formex or even a well-specced Traska gives you more character and arguably better bang for buck, which is why this lands right in that "good, not great" territory for me. That said, if you want a classically-tuned Swiss automatic with solid credentials and don't mind blending into the crowd a bit, there's nothing wrong with it.
