The GMT-Master II is honestly a beast on the wrist-that case presence is undeniable and exactly what I'm after in a watch. Movement runs smooth, the bracelet feels solid, and it does the tool-watch thing without pretense. That said, at this price point you're paying a premium for the name and precious metal, and there are other capable GMT options out there if you're not married to the Rolex ecosystem. Still a genuinely excellent watch that'll outlive us all-just know what you're getting into financially.
