The GMT-Master II is basically the Swiss Army knife of sports watches-bulletproof movement, that satisfying GMT hand, and it just works whether you're actually traveling or just pretending to. Yeah, it's pricey and you can get similar specs elsewhere, but there's something about strapping on a Rolex that just hits different, even if you know you're paying partly for the name. Solid 87 because it does everything well and nothing spectacular, but honestly that's kind of the point-it's the watch you reach for when you need something reliable that'll last decades.
