The Batman is the modern Rolex GMT I'd actually recommend wearing. Ceramic Cerachrom bezel done right - blue and black transitions crisply and the finish is bulletproof. Cal. 3186 is a proper GMT movement with 48-hour reserve. The Oyster bracelet on a jubilee-adjacent piece works properly for daily wear. My most-worn modern Rolex.

The Batman is the best GMT-Master colorway Rolex has done recently. The ceramic bezel transitions crisply and the Oyster bracelet is bulletproof. Only reason I docked wearability: at 40mm x 12.5mm it wears thick, especially on smaller wrists. Value is where I struggle - retail is fine, gray market is not.

The Batman GMT-Master II. Ceramic bezel in blue and black. Cerachrom, they call it - a name that suggests they consulted a linguist. I wear this when traveling to London for meetings. It is important that people know I travel to London for meetings. The bracelet is Oyster; the correct choice. Some men wear this on the Jubilee. Those men are wrong.
