The Daytona is exactly what it promises to be-a bulletproof chronograph that wears great and just works, though at this price point you're definitely paying for the name and waiting list drama as much as the watch itself. The movement is solid and reliable, and it's got that satisfying heft and finishing that makes you feel like you own something real. If you can get your hands on one without losing your mind over allocation games, it's a legitimate keeper, but there are other chronos out there that'll scratch the same itch for less wallet damage.
