Look, the Datejust 41 is a solid all-rounder and definitely more wearable than my beloved Tank, but it feels a bit safe for the money-nice in hand, keeps good time, and you won't regret it, but it's not pushing any boundaries. The size works well on most wrists and the mixed metal gives it some visual interest without being too flashy. If you're looking for a daily beater that'll last forever and hold value, it's hard to argue with, though personally I'd rather have something with more character for the price.
