The 126301 is a genuinely solid watch-clean, legible, and it wears beautifully on the wrist. The movement is bulletproof reliable and the bracelet quality is what you'd expect at this price point, though I'll be honest, for what Rolex charges you can find some seriously compelling alternatives if you're willing to look at independent makers or even some higher-end Seiko offerings. That said, if you want the name, the history, and a watch that'll hold its value and never let you down, this is a no-brainer grab.

The 41 is the sweet spot for the Datejust lineup if you ask me-wears comfortable all day, moves like butter, and honestly looks way more modern than the 36. Yeah, it's pricey for what amounts to a tool watch, but the finishing is solid and it'll never go out of style. Only knock is it can feel a bit safe next to some of the sportier stuff, but if you want something that works in a suit or at the gym, this hits 85/100 for me.
