The Datejust 36 is basically a Swiss Army knife on your wrist. Suit, jeans, hospital gown - it works. I love the domed bezel and Oyster combo especially, it feels timeless without being try-hard. If someone's saving for their first serious watch and they want something they'll never regret, this is my answer every single time.

The Datejust 36 is basically perfect. Not too big, not too small, well-proportioned, and utterly refined. I wear it more than any other watch I own. The domed bezel gives it that classic vintage-feeling profile without actually looking dated. Value is my only minor knock - Rolex prices are what they are.
