Look, the 5270 is an absolute beast on paper-perpetual calendar, chronograph, and the movement finishing is genuinely impressive if you get a chance to see the caseback. That said, at this price point it's hard not to feel like you're paying a premium for the name and scarcity rather than day-to-day usability, especially since most of us will never actually use half the complications. It's a stunning piece if complications are your thing and you've got deep pockets, but I'd be lying if I said there aren't other options that feel like better value for what you actually wear.
