Look, the 5524 is a genuinely interesting travel watch with a solid movement and respectable finishing, but it's hard to justify the asking price when you can grab a vintage pilot watch from the 50s or 60s for a fraction of the cost and get way more character. It wears beautifully on the wrist and the GMT functionality is practical, but for me it just feels like paying modern money for something that doesn't have the patina and history that makes a watch actually special to collect.
