Look, the 5235 is a genuinely well-executed annual calendar with a solid movement and that satisfying regulator layout, but honestly it feels like you're paying a lot of Patek money for something that doesn't quite grab me the way a Grand Seiko does-the finishing is clean but it doesn't have that obsessive attention to detail I live for, and at this price point the wearability is solid but not exceptional enough to justify the premium over some seriously good alternatives. If you're deep in the Patek ecosystem it's a flex, but if you're looking for actual value and craftsmanship per dollar, there are better moves out there.
