The Calatrava is undeniably elegant and the movement finishing is solid, but honestly at that price point I feel like you're mostly paying for the name and heritage rather than getting exceptional value like you would with a comparable Grand Seiko. It's a beautiful dress watch that wears really well, but it doesn't have that "wow" factor in the details that justifies the premium for me personally.
