This Panerai is a proper tool watch that doesn't take itself too seriously-it wears big but sits surprisingly comfortable, and the movement is solid enough for daily abuse without breaking the bank like some of their dress pieces. The Marina Militare connection gives it some real character, though at this price point you're paying a premium for the brand heritage and that distinctive Panerai look rather than getting something technically revolutionary. Would definitely recommend if you're after a no-nonsense dive watch with actual street cred, but it's not going to blow anyone away on specs alone-still, that's kind of the point with Panerai.
