The manually-wound 3861 carries METAS Master Chronometer certification and a magnetic resistance rating of 15,000 gauss, which is a meaningful technical upgrade over its predecessors while preserving the correct hand-wound character. The white dial reads cleanly against the black subdials and retains that sense of purposeful legibility that made the Speedmaster NASA's choice in the first place. At 42mm, it sits precisely where it should. A serious piece for a serious collector.
