(1)The Speedmaster '57 in blue is one of those rare modern chronographs that actually looks better in person than in the press shots. At 40.5mm it wears closer to a proper dress-sport piece than the bulkier Moonwatch, which means it genuinely works tucked under a suit sleeve - something most chronographs fail at entirely. The Cal. 9906 is column-wheel, co-axial, and co-developed with Porsche Design's movement team, so the engineering credentials are serious. That blue dial with the contrasting subdials is a joy. My slight hesitation is value - you're paying a premium for the vintage-inspired proportions, and the bracelet, while good, doesn't quite justify the full ticket price on its own.
