There's a reason the Speedmaster Professional has been in continuous production for over 60 years. It's the only watch certified for NASA extravehicular activity, and it still looks and feels like a proper tool watch. The updated Cal. 3861 is a genuine upgrade - Master Chronometer certification, co-axial escapement, and 50 hours of power reserve. Hesalite crystal is a divisive choice but I love it - it's period-correct and it scratches out easily. At this price you're getting one of the most historically significant watches in horology. Every collector should own one.

It's the Moonwatch. What am I supposed to say? Great watch, great history, but I'll be honest - at 42mm and 14mm thick it wears bigger than I expected on my wrist. Also the pushers take real effort to operate the chrono. Would I buy again? Yes. But I wear it less often than my Tudor.
