The Luminor Marina PAM01313 is a 44mm cushion case of pure Italian-military-submariner confidence, and it does not pretend to be anything else. The crown-locking device is one of the most distinctive design features in watchmaking - clunky and proud of it. The in-house P.9010 caliber with 3-day power reserve is genuinely impressive. Here's my honest take though: wearing this is a commitment. It doesn't hide under a sleeve. It doesn't pair with a slim-cut blazer. It IS the outfit. For the right person, that's a feature not a bug. The leather strap is also just okay - most Panerai fans swap it immediately, which tells you something. Love it or leave it.
