Look, the Royal Oak flying tourbillon is a technical flex and it wears beautifully on the wrist, but at this price point I kept asking myself if I really need the tourbillon complexity or if a standard RO movement would've done the job just fine. It's an incredible piece of engineering that shows AP knows what they're doing, but it also feels like you're paying a serious premium for a complication that won't make you a better collector. Still, if tourbillons speak to you and you've got the budget, it's hard to fault the execution here.
