Look, the flying tourbillon is genuinely beautiful to watch through the caseback and AP's finishing is as sharp as it gets, but for the price you're paying you're mostly buying the name and the dial novelty-the movement tech isn't anything groundbreaking compared to what independents are doing. It wears well and feels substantial on the wrist, but I can't get past the fact that in-house or bust is my whole thing, and this just feels like they're leaning too hard on heritage flex rather than pushing what a Royal Oak can actually do mechanically.
