Look, I know this isn't a vintage piece, but if you're going to go modern Royal Oak, the 41mm is where it's at-feels right on the wrist and the chronograph actually gives you something to do besides stare at the dial. The movement is solid and it'll run circles around most of what people are chasing these days. That said, at this price point you're paying for the name and the waiting list more than anything revolutionary, and if you're patient you can find older chronograph sports watches that punch just as hard for way less money.
