The Royal Oak is obviously a legend, but honestly for the money you're spending on that reference, I'd rather grab a classic Tank on leather and pocket the difference - it wears beautifully but feels more like an investment piece than something I'd actually want on my wrist daily. The movement is solid and the case finishing is sharp, but it doesn't do anything that makes me think "yeah, this is worth the hype over everything else out there." If you're already deep in the Royal Oak collector thing it's a nice addition, but if you're on the fence, stick with what actually makes you happy wearing it.
