Look, the Royal Oak is an icon and this one wears beautifully, but for the price you're paying you'd think AP would dial back the complexity a bit-the movement is solid and reliable, just not doing anything that justifies the premium over some of the alternatives out there. It's objectively a great watch if you're into the sports-luxury aesthetic, but honestly it's not really my lane since I stick to monochrome dials, so take that with a grain of salt.
