Been down the rabbit hole for about 8 years now, and I've finally accepted a hard truth: if it doesn't say Patek, Rolex, Omega in-house, or come from a true manufacture like JLC or Seiko, I'm not interested anymore. I get that Sellita and ETA movements are reliable workhorses, but there's something about knowing every gear, every spring, every adjustment was designed and built under one roof. Just sold off a beautiful Longines because the in-house conviction kicked in. Anyone else been through this conversion, or am I just being a snob about the whole thing?
