I've been on the Patek Philippe waitlist since 2019 chasing that holy grail Nautilus 5711, and honestly the drought is getting real. My AD keeps telling me "maybe next year" but we both know that's cap at this point. I'm wondering if I should just bite the bullet on an Aquanaut 5167A instead - still gets me that Patek aesthetic and integrated bracelet without the five-year wait and secondary market markup. Anyone else been in this boat? Did you stick it out for the 5711 or move on to something else from the catalog?
