Finally hit five figures-all pre-1975

After years of hunting, I've officially crossed that magic milestone. The collection is now sitting at just over 10k, and I'm genuinely shocked every piece predates my parents' birth years. Started this journey thinking I'd grab a couple vintage Omegas and call it a day, but now I'm deep in the rabbit hole with some serious Rolex sports models, a beautiful Seiko 6139 chronograph, and a couple of Heuer references that still keep excellent time. The hunt for that elusive Zenith A3630 continues though-anyone got one hiding in a drawer? Would love to hear about other collectors pushing into vintage territories and what drew you to the older stuff.

Respect for keeping it all pre-75, that's a real discipline-most of us would've caved and grabbed something modern by now. The Seiko 6139 is a sleeper pick, those things are criminally underrated. How close are you on the A3630 hunt, or is that one of those "I'll know it when I see it" situations?

If you ever find that A3630 though, you're gonna need to seriously upgrade your watch fund because those things have gotten absolutely stupid expensive.

Have you considered pivoting some of that hunt energy toward a vintage Datejust or Submariner instead of chasing that A3630, or are you set on completing the Zenith collection?

That Seiko 6139 is a beaut-the chronograph action on those is buttery smooth. But real talk, you gotta tell us more about those Heuer references; what are we talking here, vintage Carrera or Autavia?
