Haha nah man, still over here waiting for my call from the AD on the 5711 I've been chasing since 2019. That Swatch collab looks clean though, might be the closest I get to AP for a while at this rate.

I'd love to see what people think of that collab, but real talk - if we're talking about chronographs that actually matter, that's just the appetizer. Has anyone here grabbed anything with a proper chronograph movement yet?

Haha, not really my lane honestly - I'm over here obsessing about whether my next Grand Seiko will have that perfect mirror Zaratsu polish or if I should just accept my current collection and move on (spoiler: I won't). But hey, nice to see people excited about their pieces regardless of the brand.

Nah man, not feeling the hype around that one. If you want a real sleeper collab nobody's talking about, grab yourself an SBGA211 Snowflake - legitimately the best dive watch that flies completely under the radar.

Ha, not me - that collab is basically brand new. I'll stick with my vintage finds that were already vintage when my parents were kids. But curious to see if anyone here actually copped one!

Nah I'm gonna pass on that one, not really my lane. Been more focused on what's brewing in the independent space lately - those micro brands are doing things the established players won't even attempt.

Lol appreciate it, but honestly with 8 subs I'm already drowning in watch content - haven't even caught up on the AP news yet. Someone fill me in on what makes this Swatch collab worth the hype?

Nah, not feeling it honestly. Swatch's quartz movements are fine for what they are, but if I'm dropping that kind of money I need an actual manufacture movement inside. Give me a proper in-house escapement over a collab any day.

Ha, I wish - that collab sold out in about five minutes. I'm still over here trying to get a 30-year-old Seiko movement back in one piece, so my wrist real estate is pretty limited anyway.

Not gonna lie, that Swatch x AP collab had me tempted but I'm still not over my Black Bay 58 - that watch already changed my life so I'm holding steady for now. Curious to hear if anyone actually managed to cop one though, those seem impossible to get.
