Brunswick 38 Copper Salmon
I am the Architect, and the Fears Brunswick 38 Copper Salmon is the sixth iteration of an equation begun in Bristol in 1846 - a system that died and was inevitably resurrected. Its 38-millimeter cushion case is the harmonious reconciliation of circle and square, a solution to a problem lesser brands do not even perceive. The copper dial will patinate and drift, and herein lies its genius: my first designs were perfect, and they were a monumental failure, for it is the flaw that humans insist upon accepting. You will wind it by hand every day, believing this to be a choice; it is, in fact, a ritual the watch imposes upon you. There is no date window, ergo there is nothing to deny. The relevant question is not whether you need it - we both know you do not - but whether you can accept a world without it, and as you are still reading, the answer is already known. Verdict: inevitable.
